SEPTEMBER UPDATES | OPENING NIGHTS

AS YOU LIKE IT – Final performance:  29th October

Now starring in Shakespeare’s wonderful classic, As You Like It, ISABEL ADOMAKOH YOUNG can be found at the infamous Globe Theatre as the role of Orlando in Ellen McDougall’s gender-fluid production.

 

Recently seen in Bristol Old Vic’s Hamlet alongside Bespoke’s Billy Howle, she has also shown her Shakespeare gravitas in Romeo and Juliet for the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre where she won Best Female Actor at the Black British Theatre Awards in 2021. Isabel can be seen in the second season of Apple series, Foundation, as well as popular Netflix show Heartstopper.

 

As a voice artist, Isabel is a wonderful choice for audiobook reads, giving a youthful energy to her reads and various different characters within.

Previously, Isabel has worked with Harper Collins, Audible and Penguin Audiobooks to create wonderfully narrated novels ranging from children’s fairy-tales, to romance, to award-winning books such as Bernardine Evaristo’s Girl, Woman, Other.

OCTOPOLIS – Final performance: 28th October

JEMMA REDGRAVE stars in the world premiere of Marek Horn’s Octopolis at Hampstead Theatre this month. Stepping into the role of Professor George Grey, Jemma plays the behavioural biologist who is living with the grief of her late husband…and an octopus named Frances.

 

Jemma holds a wonderful list of theatre credits including The Cherry Orchard, Farewell To The Theatre, and Mood Music at the Old Vic. She is also well recognised for her screen appearances including Silent Witness, Grantchester, and Holby City. She has most recently filmed The Beekeeper which joins her previous film credits of Love and Friendship, and award-winning film Howard’s End.

 

As a voice artist, Jemma reads with a sophisticated RP that’s smooth and crisp. She can be heard in the Doctor Who spin-off podcasts for her on-screen role of Kate Stewart in the popular BBC franchise. Her delivery is collected and assured and makes for a top casting for documentary and narrative scripts.

CABARET – 25th September – 21st September 2024

WILD SCOLDING takes to the West End as Ernst Ludwig in the award winning musical Cabaret! Winning seven Olivier Awards in 2022, including Best Musical Revival, Wilf can be seen in London’s Kit Kat Club from the 25th September.

 

As well as a great stage presence, Wilf is also known for his on screen work with one of his latest roles being Andor’s Captain Vanis Tigo. A highly versatile actor, having previously appeared in Game of Thrones, The One and Bees Make Honey, Wilf has also just wrapped on feature film Stockholm Bloodbath.

Holding a coarseness in his voice, he speaks with a smooth and crisp delivery, Wilf is a star choice for voice work with numerous voice credits including The Archers podcast series and video games The DioField Chronicle, Battlefield V and FIFA 19.

BLOODY ELLE – 27-30th September

 

The next instalment of LAURYN REDDING’s smash hit Bloody Elle! The award-winning show takes to the West End following another hugely successful run at Soho Theatre in London AND the Edinburgh Fringe 2023.

THE WITCHES – 7th November – 27th January

 

Roald Dahl’s timeless tale, The Witches, has been transported to the National Theatre with KATHERINE KINGLSEY taking to the stage in its musical adaptation from Lucy Kirkwood and Lyndsey Turner. Katherine, the three-time Olivier-nominated actor, will take to the stage as the Grand High Witch from November 7th, running until late January 2024.

 

She was recently seen in the West End production of Noises Off and hails as a prolific theatre actor with credits of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Singin’ in the Rain, Piaf at the Donmar Warehouse, and the titular role of Dusty Springfield in the musical Dusty. Her on screen credits include ITV’s The Larkins, and Tim Minchin’s film adaptation of Matilda.

 

Vocally, Katherine is a fabulous choice for any read needing versatility having worked on various radio dramas such as Personal Call and Way Out East on BBC Radio 4.

Able to perform American, European and Russian accents, Katherine can present a multitude of characters in her voice, and with a brightness in her voice, she gives commercials and narrations a captivating read.
