As we’re making our way into March 2023 we have some exciting new updates to share with you from our comedic experts at Bespoke and their rib-tickling show tours you'll want to keep a note of!

  

TOM ALLEN:   COMPLETELY

 

A household name with his signature acerbic wit and riotous storytelling, TOM ALLEN is known for his flamboyant charm both on stage and screen.

 

Seen as the hilarious host of The Apprentice: You’re Fired, Tom can also be seen as a co-host on Cooking with the Stars and The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice – he has most recently hosted The Island, a new series for Dave.  Other appearances include hit comedy shows Live At The Apollo, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Would I Lie To You as well as QI, The Last Leg and The Royal Variety Performance.

 

Brilliantly funny, Tom’s show Absolutely was sold out in both 2018 and 2019 hailing multiple extensions and selling over 5000 tickets. His new tour Completely runs until the end of November with stops all across the UK and Ireland including London, Sheffield, Bromley, Newcastle, Brighton, Dublin, Glasgow, Leeds and many more which you can find here.

 

When he’s not on stage, Tom can be heard on his BBC Radio 4 series Tom Allen Is Not Very Nice as well as hit podcast Like Minded Friends with Suzi Ruffell. He has also published and recorded two of his books: critically acclaimed Sunday Times Bestseller memoir No Shame, and his newest book Too Much which was released last year.

IVO GRAHAM:   MY FUTURE, MY CLUTTER 

 

IVO GRAHAM is a wonderfully witty and charismatic British comedian. Having begun stand-up comedy at the age of 18, Ivo soon received the So You Think Your Funny Award for new acts at the Edinburgh Fringe and was more recently nominated for Best Show award in 2019.

 

He’s been seen on many comedy classics such as Mock The Week, Live At The Apollo, QI, and Have I Got News For You as well as being a writer on Channel 5’s Fighting Talk and The Last Leg for Channel 4. In 2021 he embarked across the UK starring alongside fellow comedians in comedy series British as Folk, exploring British culture across the nation.

 

Previously hailing six sell out runs at Edinburgh Fringe and show tour of The Game of Life - Ivo has recently set out on his newest tour of his hit show: My Future, My Clutter which is currently making its way around the UK after its debut at the Fringe. The show is quintessentially British and brilliantly rib-tickling in a reminiscence of awkward Zoom calls, childhood diary entries from an Etonian upbringing and his love of football.

SUZI RUFFELL:   SNAPPY

 

Well-known comedian SUZI RUFFELL has been seen on Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week and The Last Leg amongst many other comedy programmes. Having five sell out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, her tour show Dance Like Everybody’s Watching earned her a nomination for Best Stand Up Show at the National Comedy Awards 2021 as well as great critical and audience acclaim.

 

She can been seen on numerous TV shows such as Mock The Week, Dating No Filter,  The Jonathan Ross Show and Live At The Apollo which she hosted earlier this year. Suzi has also hosted Comedy Central’s Yesterday, Today & the Day Before in 2021 for which she was nominated for Outstanding Female Comedy Entertainment Performance.

 

Suzi is about to start touring her newest show Snappy around the UK – stopping through Edinburgh, Brighton, London, Oxford, Bristol and Newcastle among many more. Check out the full tour destinations here. The show runs 27th March to 3rd June this 2023 and deals with motherhood, the national discourse and her intensifying worries.

 

Her previous shows include stand-up show Keeping It Classy as well as The News Quiz and The Now Show, both for BBC Radio 4, and her newest show Explicable Me for Radio 2. Her impeccable comedic timings can also be heard in podcasts: Like Minded Friends with Tom Allen as well as her own podcast OUT with Suzi Ruffell which is currently on its fourth series and celebrates the LGBT+ community.

CHARLIE BAKER:   24HR PASTY PEOPLE

 

CHARLIE BAKER’s versatile talents as a stand-up comedian, actor, and highly acclaimed jazz-singer have seen him earn a reputation ‘a superior take on the modern showman’ (The Guardian).  A staple of the Ediburgh Fringe since his debut solo act in 2009 which won him the Mervyn Stutter of the Fringe Award, Charlie has propelled himself into the comedy world with four shows each with sell out runs.

 

Hailing from Devon, Charlie brings his countryside quip to the stage with his newest show 24hr Pasty People which started it’s run in Teignmouth in February and runs to 19th May with stops in Birmingham, Bath, London, Brighton and Walton-on-Thames to name a few – view the full list here

As an actor, Charlie has starred in Four Weddings and a Funeral, The IT Crowd and Miranda as well as EastEnders and Doctor Who. He has also appeared on shows such as The Last Leg, Comedy Central at the Comedy Store, Never Mind The Buzzocks and Channel 4’s Comedy Gala, Charlie can also be heard on Hawksbee and Jacobs as well as Talksport every Saturday for the Game Day Warm Up.

 

His newest vocal work adventure is Motorway: Hell on the Highway, a new reality series for Channel 5 which reveals the shocking and jaw-dropping incidents captured on dashcam. Charlie narrates the series which airs on Fridays at 8pm on Channel 5. As a voice artist, he can dip into his lovable and disarming West Country twang and with a versatile range, he can throw his voice to numerous accents and styles, a great choice for animated scripts needing a lift.
